5" Skinner Artifact Walrus Ivory

This J. Behring handforged Skinner has a 5" blade made of old spring steel with a hollow grind and a razor sharp edge. Nice deep stamps J.BEHRING HANDMADE and the knife cris deep struck in to the blade. the blade has been forged down to .200. The overall length is 9 3/4"  The hidden tang handle is a 2 piece walrus ivory that has copper and black spacers.  The fossil walrus ivory may have been an ice probe as it has the look and charactor like that.  Thank you545
