J. Behring Handmade Birds Head Musk Ox South Dakota Caper AEB-L Stainless

This Treeman Handmade South Dakota Caper  is about the perfect size knife for Deer small games . Blade is 3 1/2" long and 1 3/8" wide . I made this blade out of old school AEB-L stainless steel ,they say its comparable to 52-100 for toughness and edge holding ability but wont rust or stain. Heat treat is a pain but worth it in the end. Blade thickness is about .160. Convex ground with a razor sharp edge. The Nickel silver guard is silver soldered. Hidden tang handle has a premium piece of stabilized Musk Ox horn and its pinned with a pinned nickel butt cap. Handle has a heavy duty tang with a Birds Head grind , fits the hand perfectly . OAL is about 8". Wonderful curves and comes with a top quality made to fit Giraffe belt sheath. Musk Ox horn is extremely hard to find these days and expensive.  Great knife at a more than fair price. Thanks, Jim
