J.Behring Handmade XL Deer & Trout

This J.Behring handmade XL deer & trout has a razor sharp convex 5.25" long blade, hand forged from high carbon 1095 steel to about .161" Stamps are J.Behring Handmade, Kris, and USA 2020.  This blade was long lost after heat treatment back in 2020 and was recently found in between the handle bench and the wall during this falls deep clean of the knife shop. A great, and unexpected find. The silver soldered guard is nickel silver above a stack of black, aluminum, maroon, gold, brass and hand cut horsehide leather washers. The vintage red sambar stag butt is pinned through the tang with a nickel silver pinned butt plate. OAL is about 10.25"  The made to fit belt sheath is light brown with a premium beavertail panel, with heavy duty stitching and stainless hardware. price to sell.
