This GEM has a 7 1/2" .250 thick nice heavy duty blade hand forged from 1095 high carbon steel and convex ground. Scary Sharp ! Nice deep stamps and dated USA 2020 . The  brass guard is silver soldered. The heavy duty hidden tang handle has a stack of hand cut spacers just like the knife in the book. Wonderful sambar stag butt with exposed tang with lanyard hole. OAL is about 13 3/4" . Rocco knocked it out of the park with the rough back, wide mouth, butterfly stitch sheath, with heavy stitching and brass hardware to match the guard.  This is one way to have a Scagel replica knife that is made better and cost much much, less !
