This J. Behring Filet has a 7" stainless blade made of Cryo tempered AEB-L stainless steel. Sharp as a razor and will not rust. Blade is about .090 thick . N

Has some flex but not to much . If you know how to filet fish you dont need it.  Guard is silver soldered nickel. tang runs about 4" past the guard and is pinned. Wonderful sambar stag handle with a pinned nickel butt cap. Comes in a shark skin sheath with 9oz leather and stainless steel rivets. Great knife for the kitchen or the river. Thanks, Jim
