Treeman Alaskan Hammermark Sambar Stag Finger Groove Handle
This J. Behring Handmade alaskan skinner has a 5 1/2"hammermark blade made of .250" thick old school 1940S Studebaker truck spring steel. The hidden tang handle has a nickel silver guard and a classic assortment of all hand cut spacers with a bunch of thin brass and copper to bring it all together. The stabilized sambar stag handle is solid as a rock with finger grooves like the early Randasll knives. Wonderful tranlucient color and very well balanced and weighs 11 oz. Nice solid feel that only comes with a solid stabilized handle and a extra super duty blade . Jim finished this beauty off with a nickel silver butt cap, pinned and epoxied . The OAL is 10 3/4" .The horsehide lined and hand tooled heavy duty pouch sheath is a work of art by it self. No other sheath makers put the time and quality into their leather like we do.
